🛒 Exciting Updates at Our Local Walmart! 🛒
Our local Walmart is in the final stages of a $7.1 million remodel, making shopping more convenient and enjoyable for their customers.
Shoppers will notice:
- Self-checkout kiosks now available at both entrances
- A wider variety of grab-and-go food items for busy days
- Improved layout and accessibility throughout the store
Mayor Backer and city staff had the pleasure of touring the upgraded store and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Store Manager Deanna and People Lead Jessica for showing us around and sharing the vision behind the improvements.
The City is very pleased with the results and deeply appreciates Walmart’s continued investment in our community.
The remodel project will wrap up this fall with a newly repaved parking lot — just in time for the holiday season!
Thank you, Walmart, for the investment and improvements to the New Ulm store!
