For over 150 years, Turner Hall has hosted a family friendly Independence Day celebration. This year had strong attendance with people of all ages coming to enjoy live music, 1919 Root Beer floats, burgers, brats, pies and other refreshments. Younger kids enjoyed cooling off with the slip n’ slide and running through the sprinkler. There was also a bubble machine to help keep them entertained. Live music performances included Adam & the Jammers, The Wendinger Band, Concord Singers and 3 Hour Download. The event was free to attend with proceeds from food and beverage sales going toward water tank replacement for the historic Turner Hall.
