My father and i saw a need for a specialty grocery store that features products from Mexico and Central America.
How has the New Ulm EDA/newulmbusiness.com helped you with your business startup?
The EDA has helped our business in many ways from the beginning with our business plan, setting up our required federal and state accounts, assisting with our point of sale system, understanding the reports that are required and much more.
Tell us something exciting about your business.
With the great support of the community we have been able to provide more products. We would like to thank the community for shopping with us, for all the good advice and support, and especially for the great welcoming. We will continue to add more new items to our inventory than we already have.
Have you cooperated/contracted with any other local businesses or people during your startup?
Yes, we worked with a local sign company, bank and other suppliers.
What advice do you have for anyone else thinking of starting a business in New Ulm?
It’s good for the community to have new small businesses opening up to help the community grow. This is a great community to live and work in.
