Mayor Kathleen Backer decided to bring a little extra cheer to her office this year for Halloween. She is well known for her spirited personality and her great smile! Dressed in festive attire from head to toe, she gleefully offered candy to City staff and visitors, and showed off a few witches from her vast collection.
The staff loved the festive atmosphere, and soon the halls of City Hall were filled with laughter and chatter. As the afternoon drew to a close, the candy bowl had dwindled significantly, but the spirit of Halloween lingered in the air. With that famous smile on her face, she left City Hall, the spirit of the holiday dancing around her like autumn leaves in the wind.
