4th Annual Childcare Provider Training

The New Ulm EDA and its childcare team held the 4^th annual childcare provider training and appreciation event at the New Ulm Community Center. Over 60 providers attended the event this year to complete up to 12 hours of their annual required training. We want to recognize Southern MN Initiative Foundation (SMIF) for sponsoring the event for us again this year. In addition to paying for the trainers and the catered lunch, they also generously donated goodie bags for each provider along with two door prizes. Door prizes were also donated from the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, 3M, First Children’s Finance, and PowerHaus Yoga. Brown County licensing staff helped plan the event, coordinate the trainers, distributed event flyers to the licensed providers and centers, as well as helped staff the registration table at the event.
